Satin Spar (Selenite) Pyramid
Satin spar's ever-so-slightly shimmery nature is hypnotic when captured in the sun. It's believed to be calming and protective, and is popular for insight and meditation work.
Selenite/satin spar doesn't like water, so avoid getting it wet.
Most "selenite" products on the market are actually a different formation of gypsum, called satin spar - true selenite forms in plates and is clear, whereas satin spar is more 'fibrous' looking and has an optic effect. Both are forms of gypsum, and have the same metaphysical properties.
